Translation Error

In the runup to the Beijing Olympics, much fun was had by smug westerners with the atrocious translations into English put up by shopkeepers and various bureaucracies in China. In view of that smugness, it is pleasant indeed to see that the British are equally ignorant of some of their own languages.

You'll be pleased to know that the Welsh text doesn't exactly reflect the English. In fact, it means "I am not in the office at the moment. Please send any work to be translated."

Swansea Council has mud in its collective faces.
